- Bachelor of agriculture (farm management)
- Diploma of valuation and property management (post graduate)
- Associate member of New Zealand institute of valuers
- Senior member of New Zealand property institute
- Annual practising certificate (no 622) with the NZ valuers registration board

- Former employee of Logan Stone Ltd, Hastings 2004 – 2006
- Employed full time as Registered Valuer since 1985
- Rural and Urban property professional
- Experience in valuation of commercial, industrial, pastoral, horticultural and viticultural properties

- Valuation of property assets for financial purposes
- Valuation of sub divisible rural and urban land using discounted cash flow and hypothetical subdivision analysis and methodology
- Valuation of rural land for compensation/acquisition purposes under The Public Works Act for Central Hawkes Bay District Council, Hastings District Council and Hawkes Bay Regional Council
